Tell me more about the Viterbo graduate credit option!
Since 2006, RFW has partnered with Viterbo University (LaCrosse, WI) www.viterbo.edu to offer a graduate credit option for persons attending the spring RFW Rehabilitation & Transition Conference. To earn one graduate credit, persons must do the following:
(1) When you register, indicate that you want to take the credit option.
(2) Upon check-in the first day of the conference, make a $200.00 payment in the form of check, cash or credit card (Discover Cards and American Express aren't accepted) to VITERBO UNIVERSITY. DO NOT SEND IN VITERBO CREDIT PAYMENT BEFORE THE CONFERENCE. ALSO, DO NOT MAIL PAYMENTS TO VITERBO. PAYMENTS MUST BE AT THE TIME OF THE CONFERENCE. PAYMENTS ARE SEPARATE THAN YOUR CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE. Upon making your Viterbo payment at the registration table, you will then be provided a Viterbo Credit Information Folder that will include all of the materials necessary for you to complete the credit option.
(3) Most persons completing the credit option submit their assignment at the conclusion of the conference. However, students have up to a week to mail or email their assignment to the instructor.
Why should I take the Viterbo graduate credit option!
Viterbo University has worked diligently with RFW to create a graduate credit option that is streamlined for the working professional. As noted above, most persons taking the credit option are able to complete the credit requirements / assignment during the conference - meaning no work to take home and do later!
Here's some other advantages of the credit option...
-- Counts toward Wisconsin DPI license renewal for teachers
-- Can be applied to DPI Professional Development Plans
-- Credit often counts toward salary lane advancement
-- A simple way to apply the conference information to your job
-- Credit might be applicable as an elective credit for some
university degree programs (check with the university)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Am I able to wait until the start of the conference to decide if I want to take the credit option?
Yes, you can decide to take the conference option anytime before the first day concludes. However, to ensure that the instructor brings ample materials, it is strongly recommended that you indicate your credit intentions when you register for the conference.
Can I register for this credit option directly with Viterbo University?
No, don't send in the registration form or payment to Viterbo University. Both items must be submitted, in person, at the actual confererence. There will be a VITERBO CREDIT area at the main registration table at the conference.
